In Action with the Harlem Globetrotters
Recently, Prime Sports Institute had the honor of supporting the Harlem Globetrotters during their 100th Anniversary Tour. On their off day, 25 athletes and coaches received sports-focused massage therapy and pain relief massage, targeting fatigue, tight muscles, and travel strain.
Their experience highlights the impact of sports massage on performance and recovery — from improved mobility to reduced soreness. As one athlete shared:
“I wish we could package up Prime and take you all along with us on the road.”
Whether you’re a professional athlete or simply looking to recover faster and move better, our Bellingham massage therapists bring the same expertise and care. Schedule your session today and give your body the attention it deserves.
Our Team of Bellingham Massage Therapists
Michela
As a dual-licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer, I am dedicated to helping individuals move better, build strength, recover from injury, and maintain an active lifestyle at every stage of life. My treatment philosophy is rooted in the belief that movement is medicine, and I am passionate about promoting healthy aging, improving function, and enhancing overall quality of life.
Originally from Canada, I spent nearly a decade competing in varsity rugby while earning my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, followed by a year on the provincial team, and then playing for my local club. My experiences as an athlete fueled a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human body and inspired my career in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and performance. Through a combination of hands-on treatment, movement-based strategies, and education, I strive to empower clients to achieve their goals and return to the activities they love!
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, training for a sport, or simply looking to move and feel better, my goal is to help you build a stronger, healthier, and more resilient body. Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me exploring the trails, either running or hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Veronica Triplett
I am a licensed massage therapist with a passion for helping people move better, recover faster, and feel stronger in their everyday lives. My specialties include sports massage, orthopedic massage, deep tissue therapy, stretch therapy, TMJ massage, frozen shoulder massage, and massage for headaches and migraines.
Since 2016, I have worked with athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and clients recovering from injuries or experiencing chronic pain or mobility restrictions. I provide targeted bodywork designed to improve function, reduce pain, and support recovery. My work is rooted in the belief that massage therapy is more than relaxation - it is an important tool for injury prevention, performance optimization, and long-term wellness.
When I’m not working with clients, I can usually be found outside on the trail or water. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, kayaking, and exploring the outdoors, experiences that continue to deepen my appreciation for body mechanics, endurance, recovery, and the importance of maintaining an active, healthy body.
Veronica is truly a gem. I have seen a lot of different massage therapists and she is by far the best one I've gone to. She really studies the human body and has a deep understanding how how pain connects. Her massages make a significant difference in my headaches and tense neck. Could not recommend more strongly.

Seth Lee
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Food Studies. I enjoy drawing from my background as a student athlete, bringing a strong understanding of human movement, injury recovery, and performance optimization to my massage practice. I integrate techniques such as Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Pin and Stretch, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Swedish Massage to support mobility, reduce pain, and help clients return to and maintain their active lifestyles.
My massage sessions are informed by my continuing interest in sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement. My background in competitive athletics and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams gives me a unique perspective on how bodywork supports recovery and resilience. I like to combines evidence-informed techniques with curiosity and open-minded exploration to help clients discover how their bodies function and feel their best. My approach emphasizes restoring balance, improving ease of movement, and preventing future injury.
My goal as a massage therapist is to help clients feel empowered in their health and supported in their goals— whether that means recovering from an injury or maintaining a healthy happy body. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable, motivated, and understood. Outside the treatment room, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest through hiking and rock climbing, playing and coaching ultimate frisbee in Bellingham, biking, and spending time with My dog and family.
Thom Mooney

I am dedicated to and skilled at providing customized treatment to clients for recovery, relaxation, pain relief, functional improvement, maintenance, and overall general wellness. I am proficient in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques, and trigger point therapy. My approach to massage is multifaceted and I take many things into consideration while mapping out a potential pathway to meet the goals of clients.
I have a background as a participant in action/adrenaline sports (skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, motorcycle riding), cycling (road/mountain), baseball, disc golf, wrestling, and I am broadening my knowledge base of martial arts, boxing, grappling, and MMA. I believe that by participating in various sports and activities I have and continue to gain insight on the physical needs, demands, and recovery associated.
I am passionate about helping clients achieve optimal health and well-being through the power of therapeutic touch. I strive to create a safe and inviting environment for clients to explore themselves through activation of the parasympathetic nervous system promoting relaxation, a reduction in stress and anxiety, and an increased feeling of overall well-being.
Amanda Cook
I am a graduate from WCC Massage Therapy Program with a passion for helping people feel at peace in their bodies. I am an active runner, hiker and bicyclist in my free time and know how difficult it can be when an injury prevents us from doing what we love. My goal is to help you recover, get you back to doing what you enjoy and keep you in prime condition. I am excited to meet you where you are in your health journey.
I am thrilled to be working at Prime Sports Institute as I love their commitment to our community. Having this resource available to athletes and aspiring athletes is amazing, and one I've used through my injury recovery. I am certified in intraoral massage and offer this service, which can help with headaches, tension, and migraine.
I was born and raised in Bellingham and love spending time outside on the trails with my husband and two dogs.
Kristina Zographos
I began practicing massage in 2012.
I want you to experience whole-body wellness, utilizing a variety of massage modalities. My aim is to encourage cohesion within the musculoskeletal system so you will walk out of your massage appointment feeling better than when you walked in.
This can look like many things: an improved range-of-motion, a reduction in chronic or acute pain and/or muscle stiffness, a decrease in stress levels, or a quicker bounce-back after a particularly grueling training session.
Whatever your goal, MY goal is to help you take steps towards attaining it.
Kerry Gustafson
Treatment massage and medical massage are not a traditional spa massage. Most people think of massage as an indulgence and a treat. While I do my best to make treatment relaxing, my goal is to get to the root of the problem and leave you with results you’ll continue to feel over the next several days.
