Seth Lee, Licensed Massage Therapist
LICENSING # MA70023445
My name is Seth Lee. I was born and raised in North Carolina and moved to the Bellingham area in 2023. I moved here for the scenery and access to the great outdoors to follow my passions for hiking, rock climbing and milder summers. I have a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a Food Studies minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (go Heels!).
What do you do at Prime? I am a licensed massage therapist.
When and how did you get into it? While playing soccer and ultimate frisbee I developed an interest in injury rehabilitation. I considered a career in physical therapy or athletic training but fell in love with the massage approach to health and wellness. My passion for helping people and empathizing with others, combined with my experience as an athlete on championship teams puts me in a great position to work with athletes. I know what it takes to compete at a high level mentally and physically and I am excited to apply my skills to help others perform their best.
What's your approach/philosophy? Why does it work? I like to stay curious and keep an open mind. The human body is a fascinating thing. The interconnectedness of the body and its systems continues to amaze me and helping clients discover the ways their bodies feel best is my goal.
Why do you like being part of Prime? What makes Prime unique or different? I believe in the power of teamwork. The cliché of “teamwork makes the dream work” is cheesy but I believe in it wholeheartedly. Prime's multidisciplinary approach to client health is rather unique and inspiring. Being able to collaborate with other health practitioners to help clients achieve their goals is something I am looking forward to. This collaborative environment also helps support the health practitioners as I will be able to work with my colleagues to problem solve and ask for support with knowledge and expertise I may lack.
What else do you like to do outside of work? Do you have any interests/hobbies/family? I love to be outside when the weather is nice. I enjoy rock climbing at Mt. Erie, in the Northern Cascades and Squamish BC. You may see me playing or coaching ultimate frisbee and biking around town. While I love being active I also love to relax and enjoy quality downtime. I love listening to music, reading and cooking. Spending time with my dog and family is also very rejuvenating.
