Dave Bond PT, DPT is now providing physical therapy services with Tonn Physio, PLLC at Prime Sports Institute.
A long time local resident, Dr. David “Dave” Bond was fortunate to grow up in Skagit County. He is continually amazed at the natural beauty and opportunities for recreation here in the Pacific Northwest. When not in the clinic or spending time with his family, you are likely to find Dave paddling Bellingham Bay in an outrigger canoe, skiing at Mt Baker, running or hiking his favorite trails, sweating on the mats with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) training partners, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Dave was a career firefighter/paramedic for the City of Mount Vernon. He enjoys working with "tactical athletes" as well as anyone who wants to move and feel better. Dave has a special interest in rehabilitating and improving the performance of paddlers and martial artists. Embracing a biopsychosocial approach, Dave loves to accompany people who are experiencing acute injury, or even persistent pain, on a journey back to fuller participation in their lives and passions.
Dave completed the Purser Paramedic Program and a Bachelor of Science Paramedicine degree at Central Washington University, then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Washington. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (AOPT), and the Physical Therapy Association of Washington (PTWA). Dave chairs the Chronic Pain & Opioid Alternative Task Force for PTWA.
